Thai Civilized Party
Thai Civilized Party ( th, พรรคไทยศรีวิไลย์) is a minor political party in Thailand. It was registered on 2 March 2018. Party founders include Mongkolkit Suksintharanon, secretary-general of the National Anti-Corruption Network (an anti-corruption NGO), and social media personality Natchapol Supattana or "Mark Pitbull". On 10 June 2018, the party announced a resolution naming Mongkolkit as party leader and Natchapol as deputy leader, and named anti-corruption, government reform, and social justice as its three core policies. The party contested the 2019 Thai general election, fielding candidates in 226 constituencies and submitting 26 party list names. Conservatism
Conservatism is a cultural, social, and political philosophy that seeks to promote and to preserve traditional institutions, practices, and values. Centre-right Politics
Centre-right politics lean to the right of the political spectrum, but are closer to the centre. Palang Pracharath Party
Palang Pracharath Party ( th, พรรคพลังประชารัฐ, ; ) is a Thai civil-military political party with ties to the National Council for Peace and Order, the military junta that ruled the country after the 2014 coup. It was established in 2018 by Chuan Chuchan () and Suchart Jantarachotikul (). The party is led by current Deputy PM Prawit Wongsuwan. In the 2019 Thai general election, Palang Pracharath's candidate for prime minister was incumbent prime minister and military junta leader, Prayut Chan-o-cha. Although Palang Pracharath came 2nd in the polls, it successfully nominated Prayut and formed a coalition government with votes from 249 senators, and MPs from the Democrat and Bhumjaithai parties. Political Parties In Thailand
Until 22 May 2014, the politics of Thailand were conducted within the framework of a constitutional monarchy, whereby the prime minister is the head of government and a hereditary monarch is head of state. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislative branches. Following the coup d'état of 22 May 2014 revoking the 2007 constitution, a military organization called National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) had taken over administration. The chief of NCPO abolished the national assembly and assumed the responsibilities of the legislative branch. Under the martial law enforced throughout the kingdom, military courts have been tasked to be responsible for some cases that are normally under the civilian courts. However, the court system, including the Constitutional Court, still remains in existence, even without the constitution.
