Tessah Andrianjafitrimo
Tessah Andrianjafitrimo (born 11 October 1998) is a French professional female tennis player of Malagasy descent. She was born in Montpellier, France. On 20 June 2022, she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of 139. Andrianjafitrimo has won six singles and two doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. Personal life Her father, Teddy Andrianjafitrimo, was born in Madagascar. Teddy was an excellent amateur tennis player. A tennis champion of Madagascar and Africa, he did not become a professional tennis player because of lacking financial support to do so. Teddy immigrated to France and worked as a club coach; he is currently Tessah's coach. Tessah was born in Montpellier and has been living in Nogaro since 2010. She has two younger siblings. Patricia Mayr-Achleitner (née Mayr; born 8 November 1986 in Rum) is a retired Austrian tennis player. Mayr-Achleitner won 17 singles and seven doubles titles on the ITF Circuit in her career. Junior tennis refers to tennis matches where the participants are aged 18 and under. The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. WTA Rankings
The WTA rankings are the ratings defined by the Women's Tennis Association, introduced in November 1975. Iga Świątek is the current world No. 1. Ranking method The WTA rankings are based on a rolling 52-week, cumulative system. A player's ranking is determined by her results at a maximum of 16 tournaments for singles and 11 for doubles and points are awarded based on how far a player advances in a tournament. The basis for calculating a player's ranking are those tournaments that yield the highest ranking points during the rolling 52-week period with the condition that they must include points from the 4 Grand Slams, the 4 Premier Mandatory tournaments and the WTA Finals.
