Terry Oliver
Terrence Glenn Oliver (born 16 March 1963 in Maryborough) is an Australian cricket coach. Before becoming a coach, Oliver had represented Queensland Country at the National Country Championships on 5 occasions. He was part of the Australia Country team in 1989-90 and 1992–93 and played for the Gold Coast District Cricket Club in its inaugural season in Queensland Premier Cricket in 1990-91. His first post playing role was as Queensland's Cricket Development Officer for Central Queensland. In the 1997–98 season he coached the Queensland Country team in the National Championships and did so until 2000 when he was appointed coach of the Australia Country team. After moving to Brisbane in 2000 he became assistant coach of the Queensland Bulls, behind Bennett King. Maryborough ( ) is a city and a suburb in the Fraser Coast Region, Queensland, Australia. At the 2021 Census, Maryborough had a population of 15,287. Geography Maryborough is located on the Mary River in Queensland, Australia, approximately north of the state capital, Brisbane. The city is served by the Bruce Highway. The Gold Coast District Cricket Club is a cricket club on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia who play in the Queensland Premier Cricket competition. The club was founded in 1990. It has won the Queensland Premier Cricket First Grade Premiership twice, in the 2002/03 and 2008/09 seasons, the competitions One-Day Premiership twice, in 1992/93 and 2009/10, and the Twenty20 Premiership twice in 2009/10 and 2020/21. They are reigning Queensland Premier Cricket T20 Champions. History The club was founded in 1990 to provide development for Gold Coast cricket talent and a pathway to First-class cricket. Queensland Premier Cricket
Queensland Premier Cricket is the top cricket competition played in Queensland, Australia. The competition was founded under the name Brisbane Electoral Cricket in 1897 and eventually came to be known as Brisbane Grade Cricket, but has since expanded to take in teams from Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Ipswich. As of the 2019/20 season there were six grades in the Two-Day Bulls Masters competition. In addition to the two-day Grade competition there is also a One-Day competition for the John McKnoulty Cup and a T20 competition for the Tom Veivers Trophy. There is also a women's One-Day competition for the Katherine Raymont Shield contested by eight sides as of the 2020/21 season, and a women's T20 competition under Queensland Premier Cricket. Bennett King
Bennett Alfred King (born 19 December 1964 in Mossman, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian cricket coach and former professional rugby league footballer. He played first-grade for the Gold Coast-Tweed Giants in the 1988 NSWRL season. King was the former coach of the West Indies national cricket team. Before taking over the West Indies coaching role from Gus Logie, Bennett King was the Queensland Bulls' first team coach. In the 1999–2000 Australian domestic season, Bennett King was appointed as head coach after the departure of John Buchanan to the Australian national cricket team. In his first season, King led the Bulls to victory in the first-class cricket competition, the Pura Cup. He then led them to victory in that same competition for the following two years, until he was appointed as the head coach at the Australian Cricket Academy.
