Terry Dobson (singer)
Terry Dobson (born 29 March 1952) is a founding member of the pop band, Black Lace, with Ian Howarth. Their best-known hits include "Superman", "Agadoo", "Do the Conga", " Hokey Cokey", " Wig-Wam Bam" and "Music Man", although Dobson had left the band by the time of those releases. They also represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 in Jerusalem, with the song "Mary Ann", which finished seventh. Early life Terry Dobson was born on 29 March 1952 on a large council estate in Wakefield. The ''Wakefield Express'' is the newspaper serving the City of Wakefield district in West Yorkshire, England. It was established in 1852 and was the subject of a centenary film directed by Lindsay Anderson in 1952. The newspaper is owned by Johnston Press and edited by Mark Bradley. After 155 years of publication as a broadsheet, it changed to a tabloid format in March 2007. Jonathan King (born Kenneth George King; 6 December 1944) is an English singer, songwriter and record producer. He first came to prominence in 1965 when "Everyone's Gone to the Moon", a song that he wrote and sang while still an undergraduate, achieved chart success. As an independent producer, he discovered and named the rock band Genesis in 1967, producing their first album '' From Genesis to Revelation''. He founded his own label UK Records in 1972. He released and produced songs for 10cc and the Bay City Rollers. Sir Richard Starkey (born 7 July 1940), known professionally as Ringo Starr, is an English musician, singer, songwriter and actor who achieved international fame as the drummer for the Beatles.
