Terri White (journalist)
Terri White is a British journalist, editor and author. She was the editor-in-chief of ''Empire (film magazine), Empire'' magazine. Career Around 2001, White served as a features assistant at ''Woman & Home'' magazine. She was the associate editor of ''Nuts (magazine), Nuts'', before moving roles to work as deputy news editor at ''Maxim (magazine), Maxim'' in 2006. In 2007, White started working at ''ShortList'' magazine as an editor, then she was promoted as Editor in Chief in 2010 before moving to ''Buzz magazine'' as an editor the following year. In 2014, joined ''Time Out (magazine)#Time Out New York, Time Out New York'' as editor-in-chief. White was announced as editor-in-chief of ''Empire'' magazine in September 2015 replacing Morgan Rees who had held the position since October 2014. Billie Paul Piper (born Leian Paul Piper; 22 September 1982) is an English actress and former singer. She initially gained recognition as a singer after releasing her debut single "Because We Want To" at age 15, which made her the youngest woman to ever enter at number one on the UK Singles Chart. Canongate Books (trading as Canongate) is an independent publishing firm based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is named after the Canongate area of the city. It is most recognised for publishing the Booker Prizewinner '' Life of Pi''. Canongate was named the British Book Awards Publisher of the Year in 2003 and 2009. Origins Canongate was founded in 1973 by Stephanie Wolfe Murray and her husband Angus Wolfe Murray. Originally a speciality press focusing on Scottish-interest books, generally with small print runs, its most major author was Alasdair Gray.
