Terra ( el, Τέρρα []; tr, Tera or ) is a village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, located 1 km north of Kritou Terra. Prior to 1974, the village was inhabited exclusively by Turkish Cypriots. Paphos District ( el, Επαρχία Πάφου, tr, Baf kazası) is one of the six districts of Cyprus and it is situated in the western part of Cyprus. Its main town and Capital (political), capital is Paphos. The entire district is controlled by the internationally recognized government of Cyprus. There are four municipalities in Paphos District: Paphos, Yeroskipou, Peyia, and Polis, Cyprus, Polis Chrysochous. The area of the district is 1,396 km2, which constitutes the 15.1% of the total area of the island, and the population in 2011 was 90,295. Its coastal area is characterized by gulfs and coves, capes and points, beaches and tiny isles. Kritou Terra
Kritou Terra ( el, Kρήτου Τέρρα []; tr, Giritutera) is a village in the Paphos District of Cyprus, located 3 km east of Dhrousha. Kritou Terra is located 479 m above sea level. It receives 630 mm of rainfall annually. Situated in the area of Laona, as the wider area is called and in a landscape surrounded by high mountain peaks and to the north overlooking the Gulf of Chrysochous, Kritou Terra is built at an altitude of 465 meters, is one of the ampelochoria (wine-producing villages of Cyprus) of the island and is considered one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages of the province. Turkish Cypriots
Turkish Cypriots or Cypriot Turks ( tr, Kıbrıs Türkleri or ''Kıbrıslı Türkler''; el, Τουρκοκύπριοι, Tourkokýprioi) are ethnic Turks originating from Cyprus.
