Terminus Panama is an Exo public transit (Exo) bus terminus in Brossard, Quebec, Canada. It is served by buses of the Réseau de transport de Longueuil as well as by routes of the RTM's Le Richelain and Roussillon. Inaugurated in the fall of 1991, the original building was located at the intersection of Panama Street and Taschereau Boulevard. Brossard
Brossard (, , ) is a municipality in the Montérégie region of Quebec, Canada and is part of the Greater Montreal area. According to the 2021 census, Brossard's population was 91,525. It shares powers with the urban agglomeration of Longueuil and was a borough of the municipality of Longueuil from 2002 to 2006. Etymology According to the website of the city of Brossard, the municipality was named in honor of the Brossard family, who were among the first settlers to arrive in the area in the 17th century: "Brossard, a city whose name is derived from the French surname Brossard, means 'brushwood'. The Réseau express métropolitain (REM; en, Metropolitan Express Network) is a light metro rapid transit system under construction in Greater Montreal, Quebec, Canada. When completed in 2025, the system will link several Montreal suburbs and Montréal–Trudeau International Airport with Downtown Montreal. Exo Bus Stations
Exo ( ko, 엑소; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean-Chinese boy band based in Seoul formed by SM Entertainment in 2011 and debuted in 2012. The group consists of nine members: Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. They are noted for releasing music and performing extensively in Korean, Mandarin and Japanese. Exo Chambly-Richelieu-Carignan Sector
The Exo Chambly-Richelieu-Carignan sector was formed in 1984 to provide public transit service to the communities of Chambly, Richelieu and Carignan. This area is in southwestern Quebec, Canada, about east of Montreal on the Richelieu River. In 1993 it was agreed to expand service to St-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, and in 1994 it was the turn of Marieville to join. ''Gestrans'' was contracted to manage the transportation system from 2008 through 2012 with Veolia Transport (formerly Connex) operating the buses, under an agreement that expired at the end of 2011. La Prairie, Quebec
La Prairie is an off-island suburb ( south shore) of Montreal, in southwestern Quebec, Canada, at the confluence of the Saint-Jacques River and the Saint Lawrence River in the Regional County Municipality of Roussillon. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 23,357. History French Jesuits were the first Europeans to occupy the area, which was named La Prairie de la Magdelaine but was also called François-Xavier-des-Prés. Candiac, Quebec
Candiac is an off-island suburb of Montreal, in the Canadian province of Quebec; it is located on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River opposite Montreal near La Prairie. The population as of the Canada 2016 Census was 21,047. History Candiac was created January 31, 1957, when the government of Quebec accepted the request of a Canadian-European investors group, the ''Candiac Development Corporation''. The investors had collected over $4.5 million and bought of land from farmers and the neighbouring towns. In its early days, Candiac was home to 320 people who mostly lived near the St. Lawrence River. Most of the inhabitants were either farmers or Montrealers who owned a second residence in Candiac. Exo Le Richelain Sector
The Exo (public transit) Le Richelain sector is the public transportation system for the municipalities of La Prairie, Candiac and Saint-Philippe, which are suburbs lying southeast of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. Originally the communities around Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu were included but the town now has its own public transit system which serves that area. The sector will merge with the Exo Roussillon sector when the Réseau express métropolitain opens on July 31, 2023. Commuter service to Montreal is the major function of the sector, either directly to Terminus Centre-Ville via a reserved bus lane on the Champlain Bridge or services to Terminus Longueuil with a connection to the metro towards downtown Montreal. In 2018, exo awarded Transdev the contract to run service for the sector. Exo Roussillon Sector
The Exo (public transit) Roussillon sector, provides transportation services for residents in the towns of Delson, Sainte-Catherine, and Saint-Constant in Quebec, Canada. These are suburbs of Montreal located on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River in the Regional County Municipality of Roussillon. During the week there are 7 local bus routes with 3 park and ride express routes running to the Terminus Brossard-Panama, the Terminus Centre-Ville as well as to the Angrignon and the Jolicoeur metro stations from the Georges-Gagné parking facility. The local buses also connect to three AMT stations on the Candiac line, for commuter train service into the city. On the weekend only one local route and one of the express routes into Montreal are in operation. Terminus Centre-Ville is a bus terminus located within 1000 de La Gauchetière in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is multimodal with the Bonaventure Metro station and Lucien-L'Allier Metro station on the Orange Line, and the Central Station in the city's downtown core. The terminus has 21 gates in three areas. Terminus Mansfield is an overflow facility built directly next to the site.
