Teresa Portela (Spanish Canoeist)
María Teresa Portela Rivas (born 5 May 1982) is a Spanish sprint canoer who has competed since the early 2000s. Portela competed in six Summer Olympics, earning a silver medal on her sixth games at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Women's K-1 200 m. Previously she finished fourth on one occasion (2012 Summer Olympics: Women's K-1 200 m) and fifth on three occasions (2004: K-2 500 m, K-4 500 m; 2008: K-4 500 m). Cangas Do Morrazo
Cangas, also known as Cangas do Morrazo, is a seaside resort in southwestern Galicia, Spain. It is both a town and municipality in the province of Pontevedra. Its area is about 38,1 km² and has a population of around 26,087 inhabitants. The 2013 Canoe Sprint European Championships were the 25th edition of the Canoe Sprint European Championships, an international canoe and kayak sprint event organised by the European Canoe Association, and the 15th edition since its revival in 1997.
