Terence Knox
Terence Knox (born December 16, 1946) is an American film, stage, and television actor. He made his debut in Robert Zemeckis's ''Used Cars'' (1980), and appeared in numerous television series, including lead roles in ''St. Elsewhere'' (1982–84) and ''Tour of Duty (TV series), Tour of Duty'' (1987–90). Life and career Knox was born Terry Davis in Richland, Washington, and attended Washington State University, graduating with a degree in English. He later attended Portland State University's acting graduate program, graduating with a Master of Fine Arts, M.F.A. degree. Prior to pursuing a career as an actor, Knox worked as a substitute teacher. Career Knox is perhaps best known for his roles as Dr. Peter White, the medical resident-turned rapist on ''St. Elsewhere'', on which he appeared during that show's first three seasons (1982–84). Richland () is a city in Benton County, Washington, United States. It is located in southeastern Washington at the confluence of the Yakima and the Columbia Rivers. Dawn Lee Swan Magyar (March 28, 1952 – January 27, 1973) was found murdered in March 1973, in a wooded area in Chapin, Michigan. She had been reported missing since January 27, 1973, from her home in Chesaning, Michigan. Believed to have been abducted from a shopping center in nearby Owosso, she was found to have been raped, and shot three times. After a long investigation, new technology in DNA analysis enabled Shiawassee County, Michigan, police to charge Jerald Leroy Wingeart in 2001, who was identified by DNA collected at the murder scene. In November 2001 he was tried and convicted in the case, and sentenced to life in prison. The case was closed more than 28 years after Magyar's body was found. The Country Walk case is a Florida 1985 "Multi-Victim, Multi-Offender" child sex abuse case that occurred during the day-care sex-abuse hysteria. Frank Fuster remains imprisoned, making him the last perpetrator in this moral panic. His wife Ileana Flores Fuster initially denied any wrongdoing, but following months of interrogations, she testified against Frank and confessed to the alleged crimes, later recanting her confession, then recanting her recantation, and finally recanting that. ''Murder Ordained'' is a television film that originally aired for CBS in 1987, starring Keith Carradine, JoBeth Williams, and Kathy Bates. It was co-written and directed by Mike Robe.
