Tennman Records was an American record label created as a joint venture between Justin Timberlake and Interscope Records. History The label was announced in a press release dated May 28, 2007. "We are all excited about the talent we have to offer already on our roster and I cannot wait to introduce the world to my new discoveries," Timberlake said in a statement. Ten-time Grammy Award winner Justin Timberlake serves as the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Justin sets the company's creative direction and is actively involved in all phases of the label's operations. Andre Person serves as the company's President. Navin Watumull serves as the company's General Manager/Vice President of A&R. Dutch YouTube celebrity Esmée Denters was the first artist to be signed to the new label. FreeSol is an alternative soul band from Memphis, Tennessee. History The name, “FreeSol”, refers to a state of mind - a freedom of expression - with a main objective of never conforming to the usual way of doing things. Armed with this philosophy, FreeSol toured the country playing gigs of all sizes, and competing (i.e., the Mid-South Grammy Showcase, Turner South's My South Rocks competition, The Rock Boat's Grand Championship show, and the BMI Urban Music Showcase). ''Outta Here'' is the debut studio album by Dutch pop artist and songwriter Esmée Denters. It was released on Tennman Records in May and June 2009 in Europe, and was released in the UK on 11 January 2010. Production was handled mostly and executively by Justin Timberlake with Denters herself co-writing the album. The album was preceded by the release of the title track " Outta Here" as the first single. The song was released in April 2009, reaching top ten in the Netherlands and the UK, number 12 in New Zealand, and number 26 in Belgium. After the album's release, " Admit It" was released as the second single on 4 September 2009 and peaked at 28 in the Netherlands.
