Morrison is a town in Warren County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 684 at the 2000 census and 694 at the 2010 census. Geography Morrison is located at (35.604869, -85.915004). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , all of it land. Demographics 2020 census As of the 2020 United States census, there were 733 people, 202 households, and 151 families residing in the town. 2000 census As of the census of 2000, there were 684 people, 254 households, and 185 families residing in the town. State Route 287 (SR 287) is a north-south state highway located entirely in Warren County in Middle Tennessee. It connects Viola with Rock Island via Morrison, Centertown, Midway, and Rock Island State Park. SR 287’s routing is somewhat unique in that it forms a nearly C-shaped arch around the southern, western, and northern sides of McMinnville. Route description SR 287 begins just north of the town of Viola at an intersection with SR 108/ SR 127 (Viola Road). List Of State Routes In Tennessee
The Tennessee state routes do not follow a systematic numbering system unlike the U.S. Highway System and some other states' highway systems. The routes are separated into primary and secondary routes though. Many of the routes are hidden in that they are overlaid on U.S. Routes and not signed. The mile markers throughout Tennessee, however, show the state route number for these hidden routes. The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) maintains these routes under the "State Highways" title of state law, but designates them as "state routes".
