Tennessee State Route 128
State Route 128 (SR 128) is a state highway in western and western Middle Tennessee. It connects Pickwick Dam with Linden, via Savannah and Clifton. Route description Hardin County SR 128 begins as a primary highway in Hardin County in the community of Pickwick Dam at an intersection with SR 57, just north of the Mississippi state line. The highway then goes north and crosses overtop of Pickwick Landing Dam, which impounds the Tennessee River, before leaving Pickwick Dam and continuing north through rural areas. Highland Rim
The Highland Rim is a geographic term for the area in Tennessee surrounding the Central Basin. Nashville is largely surrounded by higher terrain in all directions. Geologically, the Central Basin is a dome. The Highland Rim is a cuesta surrounding the basin, and the border where the difference in elevation is sharply pronounced is an escarpment. Nashville is located in the northwestern corner of the basin. State Route 226 (SR 226), also known as Airport Road, is a north–south state highway in Hardin County, Tennessee. Route description SR 226 begins just south of Walkertown at an intersection with SR 128. It goes through wooded areas to pass through Maddox, where it has an intersection with SR 69 and passes by the Savannah-Hardin County Airport. The highway then turns northward through farmland to enter Olivet and have a short concurrency with SR 203. State Route 15 (SR 15) is a west–east route from Memphis to Monteagle. For much of its route it has an unsigned concurrency with U.S. Route 64. SR 15 does travel through the southern part of all 3 Grand Divisions of the state: West Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and East Tennessee.
