''Tender Is the Savage'' is the third album released by the Norwegian band Gluecifer. It was originally released in 2000 on White Jazz Records. The album was re-released with extra tracks later that year. Gluecifer
Gluecifer is a Norwegian hard rock band based in Oslo. Formed in 1994, they produced several underground releases during their first years of existence and soon claimed to be "kings of rock". History In 1997, the album ''Ridin' the Tiger'' (released on record label White Jazz) provided an artistic and commercial breakthrough and placed Gluecifer along Hellacopters from Sweden at the forefront of the Scandinavian hard rock wave of the late 1990s. ''Basement Apes'', their fourth album, saw them signing with Sony Music, and ''Automatic Thrill'' became their biggest-selling record to date. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Sub Pop is a record label founded in 1986 by Bruce Pavitt and Jonathan Poneman. Daniel Rey
Daniel Rey (born Daniel Rabinowitz) is an American musician, record producer and songwriter from New York City, best known for his work with the punk rock band Ramones. As a teenager Rey played in punk band Shrapnel, which also featured Dave Wyndorf, later of Monster Magnet. Shrapnel put out two 45 singles (Combat Love and Go Cruisin') and a five-song self-titled e.p., and played CBGB regularly in their brief career. He first collaborated with the Ramones on their 1984 album ''Too Tough to Die'', where he co-wrote the song "Daytime Dilemma (Dangers of Love)" with Joey Ramone, and from there produced three of the band's albums, '' Halfway to Sanity'', '' Brain Drain'' and ''¡Adios Amigos!''. ''Ox-Fanzine'' is a monthly punk zine from Solingen, Germany, founded in 1988. It is edited by Joachim Hiller and has had many contributors. Besides its focus on punk subculture, it also covers similar genres, reviews of comics, books and films, and has included serial novels by authors such as Klaus N. Frick. By 2019, ''Ox'' had a circulation of 10,000 copies. History ''Ox-Fanzine'' was founded in 1988 by Joachim Hiller and Biggi Häußler in Heidenheim an der Brenz (Southern Germany).
