Sébastien Tellier (; born 22 February 1975) is a French singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with his song "Divine". He has also produced songs for Dita Von Teese and composed music for the French films '' Narco'' and ''Steak'', among others. Tellier is currently signed to Record Makers, a French independent record label. He sings in English, French and Italian. Sylvie Tellier (born 28 May 1978) is a French television personality, businesswoman, and former beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss France 2002. Previously, Tellier had been crowned Miss Lyon 2001, becoming the seventh woman from Rhône-Alpes to be crowned Miss France. As Miss France, Tellier also competed at Miss Universe 2002. Paul Mathias Tellier, (born 1939) is a Canadian businessman and former public servant and lawyer. Biography Born in Joliette, Quebec, Tellier earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Ottawa and his law degree from the University of Oxford. He entered Canada's civil service in the 1970s and rose through the ranks of the federal bureaucracy through several high-profile deputy minister portfolios, culminating as the nation's top civil servant from August 12, 1985 to June 30, 1992, when he was appointed Clerk of the Privy Council, in the Privy Council Office of Canada, during Brian Mulroney's ministry. Théodule Tellier
Théodule Tellier (circa 1856 – March 1922) was a French printer and the co-founder with Louis Yvert of French philatelic publisher Yvert et Tellier. He participated in its publication from 1895 to 1913. Biography In 1879 in Amiens, Tellier was hired at the printing company of Henry Yvert. He climbed the ranks and finally became chief-printer. When Henry Yvert died in 1885, his widow associated her family to Tellier, until her son Louis would be ready to join the firm. Tellier directed the typographic plant, then all of the Yvert printing operations by 1889. Tellier was a stamp collector, too, a passion he had discovered in the 1870s with the German stamps for Alsace-Lorraine. Louis Tellier
Louis Tellier (December 24, 1842 – June 17, 1935) was a Canadian lawyer, politician, and judge. Biography Born in Berthier-en-Haut, Canada East, the son of Zephirin and Luce (Ferland) Tellier, Tellier completed his classical education at Joliette College in Joliette, Quebec. He studied law with Hon. Louis François Georges Baby, Joliette, and finished with Hon. Hubert W. Chagnon, in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 1866, and practiced law in St. Hyacinthe. He was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1882. From 1863 to 1873, he was Deputy Prothonotary of the Superior Court, and Deputy Clerk of the Circuit Court for the district. From 1873 to 1878 he was a Crown Attorney. He was elected to the House of Commons of Canada for St. Hyacinthe in the 1878 election; he then defeated Honoré Mercier who was running for the Liberal Party. Sir Joseph-Mathias Tellier (January 15, 1861 – October 18, 1952) was a Canadian politician born in Sainte-Mélanie, Quebec, Canada. Biography He was a Quebec Conservative Party leader, but never Premier (his party lost the 1912 election, and Lomer Gouin became Premier of Quebec) . He was in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1892 to 1916, as a Member for the riding of Joliette . After his studies at Université Laval, he was admitted to the Barreau du Quebec and he practiced law for over 15 years. Maurice Tellier (June 14, 1896 – March 28, 1966) was a lawyer and political figure in Quebec. He represented Montcalm in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1936 to 1939 and from 1944 to 1962 as a Union Nationale member. Tellier was Speaker of the Legislative Assembly from 1955 to 1960. Ray Tellier Jr. (born June 10, 1951) is an American college athletics administrator and former college football player and coach. He currently serves as an associate athletics director at Columbia University, a position he has held since 2005. Charles Tellier
Charles Tellier (29 June 1828 – 19 October 1913) was a French engineer, born in Amiens. He early made a study of motors and compressed air. In 1868, he began experiments in refrigeration, which resulted ultimately in the refrigerating plant, as used on ocean vessels, to preserve meats and other perishable food. In 1911, Tellier was awarded the Joest prize by the French Institute and, in 1912, he was made Chevalier of the Legion of Honour. He wrote ''Histoire d'une invention moderne, le frigorifique'' (1910). Tellier died impoverished in Paris.
