''Telegrame'' is a 1959 Romanian comedy film directed by and Gheorghe Naghi and starring Grigore Vasiliu Birlic. The film, based on the eponymous sketch by Ion Luca Caragiale, premiered in Romania on 1 March 1960. It was entered into the 1960 Cannes Film Festival. Mihai Fotino
Mihai Fotino (; 14 September 1930 – 13 January 2014) was a prolific Romanian actor who has appeared in theatre, film, television, and radio, in a career spanning 70 years. Born in Bucharest, he spent his early years in Brașov, where his father, Mișu Fotino, was a stage actor and director, and later graduated from Matei Basarab High School in Bucharest. Fotino made his debut at the age of 6, in 1936, in the play ''Colonial''. From 1952, he became an actor at the in Brașov. He was noticed by the director , who brought him to Bucharest. Starting in 1956, he played for over 50 years at the National Theatre Bucharest. Fotino was awarded the in 1967 and 2004.Decree no. 36 of 7 February 2004 and bestowed the Order of Cultural Merit Medal, text published in Official Gazette no. 172 of 27 February 2004. Dem Rădulescu
Dem Rădulescu (; 21 September 1931 – 17 September 2000) was a Romanian theatre, film and television actor, and academic. He was also a professor at the Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Personal life Rădulescu was born in Râmnicu Vâlcea in a family of merchants. After graduating from the Nicolae Bălcescu High School (now known as Alexandru Lahovari National College) in Râmnicu Vâlcea, he had to make a choice between a career as a professional sportsman (boxing) and acting. He was even awarded a golden star at an amateur boxing championship. In 1956, he won first prize for interpreting "Steaguri pe turnuri" (he played the bandit Rijikov) at a contest dedicated to young actors. He was then scouted by Sică Alexandrescu which meant the beginning of Rădulescu's acting career. Draga Olteanu Matei (née Olteanu) (; 24 October 1933 – 18 November 2020) was a Romanian actress. She performed in more than thirty films from 1967 to 2006. Born in Bucharest, she studied at the Iulia Hasdeu High School in Lugoj. After moving to Brașov at age 17, she returned to Bucharest, where she graduated in 1956 from the I.L. Caragiale Institute of Theatre and Film Arts. In 1970 she married Ion Matei, a doctor from Piatra Neamț.
