Tejpal Singh Nagar popularly known as Tejpal Master is an Indian politician from Uttar Pradesh. He is a member of 17th and 18th Uttar Pradesh Assembly and presently representing Dadri constituency since March 2017 as MLA. Tejpal Nagar is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Early life and education Tejpal Singh Nagar was born in a Gurjar family of Village Akilpur jagir in Gautam Budh Nagar district. A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. Nawab Singh Nagar is an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Nagar is a former Minister in Government of Uttar Pradesh and served twice as MLA from Dadri (1996-2007). He is currently the chairperson of Lal Bahadur Shastri Sugarcane Development Board and also the Vice-President of Uttar Pradesh BJP. History Nawab Singh Nagar joined RSS during his college days and eventually joined BJP in the mid-1980s as the party was formed. The election to the 17th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly was held from 11 February to 8 March 2017 in 7 phases. This election saw a voter turnout of 61.11% compared to 59.40% in the previous election.
