Ted Rowlands (newscaster)
Ted Hugh Rowlands (born September 27, 1966) is an American newscaster who previously worked at CNN and KTVU Channel 2 in the Bay Area. He is currently employed by Court TV. Career Rowlands is a general assignment correspondent for CNN based in Chicago. Rowlands is best known for his coverage of high-profile criminal cases, including Scott Peterson, Michael Jackson, O. J. Simpson and Phil Spector. Scott Peterson
Scott Lee Peterson (born October 24, 1972) is an American convicted murderer. In 2004, he was convicted of the first-degree murder of his wife, Laci, who was pregnant at the time, and the second-degree murder of their unborn son, Conner, in Modesto, California. In 2005, Peterson was sentenced to death by lethal injection. His case was put on automatic appeal to the Supreme Court of California. On August 24, 2020, the death penalty for Peterson was overturned, though his conviction was upheld. He was re-sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on December 8, 2021. On June 25, 2009, American singer Michael Jackson died of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his home on North Carolwood Drive in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
