Teagan Micah
Teagan Jade Micah (born 20 October 1997) is an Australian international soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for the Australia women's national soccer team and FC Rosengård in Sweden's Damallsvenskan. In May 2019, Micah was named to the 23-player squad that will represent Australia at the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. Early life Micah was born and raised in the Gippsland town of Moe in regional Victoria, where she played in the junior system at local soccer club Moe United for three seasons. At the age of 10, she moved to Redcliffe, Queensland, where she attended Redcliffe State High School. Moe, Victoria
Moe ( ) is a town in the Latrobe Valley in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. 2020 Toppserien
The 2020 Toppserien was the 34th season of the highest women's football league in Norway. The season was to start initially on 21 March 2020 but due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was delayed. It finally commenced on 3 July 2020 and ended on 6 December 2020. This season featured just 10 teams. Vålerenga won their first Toppserien title on goal difference after finishing second the previous season. Toppserien
The Toppserien is the top level of women's association football in Norway. It was founded in 1984. History Women's league football was introduced on a county basis in 1977. These leagues acted as qualification for the regional (South) league in 1979. Regional leagues were in operation until the formation of the First Division 1984, when the league was divided into three regions, Group Eastern-Norway (''Østlandet''), Group Western-Norway (''Vestlandet''), and Group Mid-Norway (''Trøndelag''). No teams from Northern-Norway (''Nord-Norge'') played, however. The winners of the three groups met each other for a play-off. Casey Narelle Dumont (born 25 January 1992) is an Australian international soccer player who plays for Australian W-League team Melbourne Victory. Early life and biography Dumont was born in 1992 in Sydney and was brought up on the Gold Coast. In 2013, Dumont qualified as a registered nurse. 2019–20 W-League
The 2019–20 W-League season was the twelfth season of the W-League, the Australian national women's association football competition. Nine teams competed in the league, with most of the players from Australia but 33 of them from 11 other countries. Melbourne City was undefeated through the regular season, the third time this has occurred in the W-League and the second time it has been achieved by Melbourne City. The 2019–20 Australian bushfire season has had a significant impact on the season. Apart from the need to defer a few matches, there were a number of matches that were played in a smoke haze, with some players requiring asthma medication during the matches. W-League (Australia)
A-League Women (known as the Liberty A-League for sponsorship reasons), formerly the W-League, is the top-division women's soccer league in Australia. The W-League was established in 2008 by Football Australia (then known as Football Federation Australia) and was originally composed of eight teams of which seven had an affiliation with an existing A-League Men club. The NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Championship, sometimes known as the Women's College Cup, is an American college soccer tournament conducted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and determines the Division I women's national champion.
