Taza Mahalla Mosque
Taza Mahalla Mosque ( az, Təzə məhəllə məscidi; which can also be transliterated as Teze Mehelle in English language, English) is an Azerbaijani mosque located in Shusha about 350 km from capital Baku. The name of the mosque in translation means "New Neighbourhood" referring to the location of the mosque in the relatively new neighborhood of 17 neighbourhoods Shusha. These neighbourhoods were Boyuk qurdlar, Kichik Qurdlar, Sеyidli, Julfalar, Taza mahalla, Hamam gabaghi, Demirchiler, Guyulug, Khoja Marjanli, Mamayı, Saatlı, Kocharli, Mеrdinli, Chol gala, Haji Yusifli, Chukhur mahalla, Agha dedeliler. The mosque was one of the 17 mosques functioning in Shusha by the end of the 19th century. It was located on Firudin bey Kocharli street of Taza Mahalla neighborhood of Shusha. Guyulug Mosque
Guyulug Mosque ( az, Quyuluq məscidi) is an Azerbaijani mosque located in Shusha. The mosque is located on Ojaggulu street of Guyulug neighborhood of Shusha. The exterior and interior Guyulug Mosque was one of the seventeen mosques functioning in Shusha by the end of the 19th century. Current exact state of the mosque is unknown. According to the architectural composition of the main facade, the Guyulug mosque belonged to the type of Shusha quarter mosques with an eyvan with wide arches of various shapes, which constituted an organic whole with a prayer hall. According to the architectural and constructive solution of the internal space, the mosque belonged to the type of Shusha quarter mosques with a single volume and a flat wooden ceiling. In the mosque, as in other district mosques of the city, in the depths of the prayer hall, opposite the mihrab, on the second tier, a small open gallery was provided, framed by three lancet arches. Firidun bey Ahmad bey oglu Kocharli or Kocharlinski ( az, Firidun bəy Köçərli; russian: Фиридун-бек Кочарлинский or ) (26 January 1863, in Shusha – 1920, in Ganja) was a prominent Azerbaijani writer, philologist, and literary critic. Life Kocharli was born in 1863 in Shusha being the only child of Ahmad bey Kocharli. Firidun graduated from the local Russian-Muslim school and was admitted to the Transcaucasian Teachers Seminary in Gori.
