Taylour Stevens
Taylour Stevens (born August 31, 2000) is a Canadian curler from Chester, Nova Scotia. She is currently the alternate on Team Heather Smith. In 2022, she skipped her team to victory at the 2022 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Career Stevens was a member of the Cally Moore rink which represented Nova Scotia at the 2019 Canada Winter Games. They finished the round robin in fourth with a 6–4 record, qualifying them for the playoff round. They defeated Saskatchewan's Skylar Ackerman in the quarterfinals before being eliminated by eventual winners Ontario in the semifinal. They were able to pick up the bronze medal by defeating New Brunswick's Erica Cluff. This same team represented Nova Scotia later that year at the 2019 Canadian U18 Curling Championships but failed to advance to the knockout round after a 2–4 round robin record. Chester is a village on the Chester Peninsula, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada. Meghan Walter
Meghan Walter (born February 22, 2002) is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She currently plays third on Team Kate Cameron. She is a former World Mixed Curling Champion. Career Walter skipped her own team throughout her junior career, however, struggled to make it out of the province. In 2017, her team of third Sara Oliver, second Morgan Reimer and lead Mackenzie Elias lost the provincial junior final to Shae Bevan. The following year, the team, now with third Erica Wiebe, went undefeated until the final where they lost to the Mackenzie Zacharias rink. Team Walter also lost back-to-back U18 finals in 2018 and 2019 to Emma Jensen. During the 2018 Manitoba Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Walter played third for the Lisa Hale-Menard rink. 2022 World Junior Curling Championships
The 2022 World Junior Curling Championships were held from May 15 to 22 at the Jönköping Curling Club in Jönköping, Sweden. The event was originally scheduled to be held March 5 to 12, however, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden. It was the final World Curling Federation event held during the 2021–22 curling season.
