Taylor Heinicke
Taylor Heinicke ( ; born March 15, 1993) is an American football quarterback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Old Dominion and signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2015. Heinicke has also been a member of the New England Patriots, Houston Texans, and Carolina Panthers, as well as the St. Louis BattleHawks in the XFL. With Washington in 2020, Heinicke filled in for an injured Alex Smith in a playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Heinicke later started the majority of the 2021 season following an injury to Ryan Fitzpatrick. Heinicke once again became the starting quarterback in 2022 following an injury to Carson Wentz and led the team to a 5−1 record in Wentz's absence, winning the starting job in the process. The ''Gwinnett Daily Post'' is a daily newspaper published in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and serves as the county's legal organ. Carson Wentz
Carson James Wentz (born December 30, 1992) is an American football quarterback for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). Wentz played college football at North Dakota State, where he won two consecutive NCAA FCS national championships as the team's starter. He was selected second overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2016 NFL Draft, making him the FCS's highest drafted player. Wentz's greatest success with the Eagles was in 2017 when he led them to an 11–2 record. 2022 Washington Commanders Season
The 2022 season is the Washington Commanders' 91st in the National Football League (NFL) and their third under head coach Ron Rivera. This is the team's first season under the Commanders branding, with new logos and uniforms being introduced after temporarily playing as the Washington Football Team for the previous two seasons following the retirement of the Redskins branding in 2020. The team traded for Indianapolis Colts quarterback Carson Wentz during the offseason. Ryan Joseph Fitzpatrick (born November 24, 1982) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons. During his career, Fitzpatrick started at quarterback for nine different teams, the most in league history. He played college football at Utah, where he received first-team All-American honors and won the 2005 Fiesta Bowl.
