Taylor Guilbeau
Taylor Michael Guilbeau (born May 12, 1993) is an American former professional baseball relief pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners. Career Guilbeau was drafted out of Zachary High School in the 39th round by the New York Yankees in the 2011 Major League Baseball draft. Washington Nationals He did not sign, instead pitching for the Crimson Tide at the University of Alabama until he signed with the Washington Nationals after they drafted him in the 10th round in the 2015 draft. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. Structure The six teams of the AFL are organized in two three-team divisions. Designated for assignment (DFA) is a contractual term used in Major League Baseball (MLB). A player who is designated for assignment is immediately removed from the team's 40-man roster, after which the team must within seven days, return the player to the 40-man roster, place the player on waivers, trade the player, release the player, or outright the player from the 40-man roster into Minor League Baseball. The Tacoma Rainiers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.
