Aaron Fletcher (baseball)
Aaron Eugene Fletcher (born February 25, 1996) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He played college baseball for the University of Houston. Fletcher was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 14th round of the 2018 MLB draft. He previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Seattle Mariners and Pittsburgh Pirates. Early years Fletcher attended Langham Creek High School in Houston, Texas. He attended the University of Houston and played college baseball for the Cougars. Fletcher underwent Tommy John surgery on March 11, 2016. in 2018 after going 7-3 with a 2.19 ERA in 94.1 innings, Fletcher was named the AAC 2018 Pitcher of the Year. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Houston Cougars baseball team is the college baseball team of the University of Houston. Along with the university's other athletic teams, the baseball team is a member of the American Athletic Conference as a Division I team. They play their home games at Schroeder Park. The Arkansas Travelers, also known informally as The Travs, are a Minor League Baseball team based in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Roenis Leliebre Elías (; ; born August 1, 1988) is a Cuban left-handed professional baseball pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization. He made his MLB debut in 2014. Auburn Doubledays
The Auburn Doubledays are a collegiate summer baseball team of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) that is located in Auburn, New York. From 1958 to 2020, they were members of Minor League Baseball's New York–Penn League (NYPL). They have played their home games at Leo Pinckney Field at Falcon Park since 1995. They previously played at the original Falcon Park, which was built in 1927 on the same site. The team is owned and operated by Auburn Community Baseball.
