Taylor Demonbreun (born October 21, 1994) is an American world traveler and motivational speaker who holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to visit every sovereign country in the world. Demonbreun set this record on December 7, 2018, after traveling for one year and 189 days, having started on June 1, 2017. The record was previously held by Cassandra De Pecol. She was 24 years old when she achieved the record. She previously held the record as the youngest person to travel to all the world's countries. Cassandra De Pecol (born June 23, 1989) is an American author, traveler, activist, and speaker. In 2017, she set Guinness World Records in two categories: "Fastest time to visit all sovereign countries" and "Fastest time to visit all sovereign countries—Female". Both records were broken in 2019. Career World travel and Guinness record From July 24, 2015 to February 2, 2017, De Pecol traveled to every sovereign nation in the world. Tuscaloosa ( ) is a city in and the seat of Tuscaloosa County in west-central Alabama, United States, on the Black Warrior River where the Gulf Coastal and Piedmont plains meet.
