Eastern Lombard does not have any official status either in Lombardy or anywhere else: the only official language in Lombardy is Italian. Classification Eastern Lombard is a Romance language of the Gallo-Italic branch, closer to Occitan, Catalan, French, etc. than to Italian, with a Celtic substratum. Geographic distribution Eastern Lombard is primarily spoken in Eastern Lombardy (Northern Italy), in the provinces of Berg ...

Trompia
The Val Trompia (also: ''Valle Trompia'') is a slightly more than 50 km long valley in the Province of Brescia, northern Italy. It consists of the valleys of the river Mella and its tributaries, north of the city of Brescia. It is situated between Val Camonica, Val Sabbia and Lake Iseo.
