Tatyana Polovinskaya ( uk, Тетяна Половинська; born March 14, 1965, in Simferopol, Ukrainian SSR) is a retired long-distance runner from Ukraine, who represented the Soviet Union in the women's marathon at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, finishing in fourth place. The Vienna City Marathon is an annual marathon race over the classic distance of 42.195 km held in Vienna, Austria since 1984. History The first edition was held on with a total of 794 competitors. It is Austria's largest road running event and the 2010 edition had record participation with 32,940 runners from 108 nations taking part in the day's races. The race has been organised by Wolfgang Konrad since 1989. The race day's events also include a marathon team relay event, a 4.2 km fun run and a half marathon. In 2011, Haile Gebrselassie ran the fastest ever time on Austrian soil for the half marathon distance. Tetyana Hladyr or Tetiana Hladyr ( uk, Тетяна Гладир, born 17 April 1975) is a retired Ukrainian long-distance runner. Career She has won the 2003 Marseille Marathon (2:37:52 hours), the 2006 Rome City Marathon (2:25:44 hours) and 2006 Bay to Breakers footrace (39:09), and finished second at the 2002 Wachau Marathon (2:34:40 hours), the 2004 Italian Marathon (2:32:24) and the New York City Marathon (2:26:05 hours). When winning the Rome City Marathon she set a national record in the distance, breaking the 2:27:05 mark set by Tatyana Polovinskaya in 1988. She also finished tenth at the 2004 Nagoya Marathon (2:32:55 hours) and eleventh at the 2005 New York City Marathon (2:29:34 hours).
