Taramani (film)
''Taramani'' is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Ram. He co-produced the film with J. Satish Kumar under his production company Catamaran Productions. The film stars Andrea Jeremiah, Vasanth Ravi and Adrian Knight Jesly, with Anjali appearing in a cameo. The venture began production in August 2013 and was released after several delays on 11 August 2017. The film was received with positive reviews and it was a sleeper hit in the box office. ''Eyes Wide Shut'', "Y Tu Mama Tambien" and ''Knife in the Water'' were the Inspiration of this film . For his performance as a lead actor in this debut film, Vasanth Ravi received ''The Best Debut Actor'' at the 10th Vijay Awards and in the Jio 65th South Filmfare Awards in 2018. Ram (director)
Ram is an Indian film director, who works in Tamil cinema. After assisting Hindi directors Rajkumar Santoshi and working under Balu Mahendra, he made his directorial debut with ''Kattradhu Thamizh'' (2007), which fetched him strong critical acclaim. His second film ''Thanga Meengal'' (2013) also won critical praise and three National Film Awards. He released his next film Taramani in August 2017 which was critically acclaimed and a box-office hit. Florent Pereira
Florent C. Pereira (1952 – 14 September 2020) was an Indian journalist and actor who appeared in Tamil language films as a supporting actor. Career Pereira completed a post-graduate degree in English literature from Annamalai University in 1976, before moving on to work in management roles in television channels including Vijay TV and Win TV in the 1990s and 2000s. Bharathiraja
Bharathiraja (born 17 July 1941) is an Indian film director and actor who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. Making his debut in 1977 with ''16 Vayathinile'', he is known for realistic and sensitive portrayals of rural life in his films. As of 2017, he has won six National Film Awards, four Filmfare Awards South, two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and a Nandi Awards, Nandi Award.
