Tara Norris
Tara Gabriella Norris (born 4 June 1998) is an American cricketer who currently plays for Sussex, North West Thunder, London Spirit and Delhi Capitals. She plays as a left-arm medium bowler. She has previously played for Loughborough Lightning, Southern Vipers and Southern Brave. Norris was born in the United States and played for the United States women's national cricket team at the 2021 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Americas Qualifier. Early life Norris was born on 4 June 1998 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, and is half-Italian. She spent her early years in Spain, before moving to England at the age of eight. She attended Portslade Aldridge Community Academy and began playing for Horsham Cricket Club at a young age. Domestic career Norris made her county debut in 2014, for Sussex against Warwickshire. United States Women's National Cricket Team
The United States women's cricket team is the women's national cricket team that represents the United States. They have never been to the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup; at the 2011 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier, the team finished fourth in its group with only one win. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between the United States women and another international side after July 1, 2018 will be a full WT20I. 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy
The 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the first edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket domestic competition, which took place between 29 August and 27 September 2020. It featured eight teams in two groups, and had a final. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. The competition was won by Southern Vipers, who beat Northern Diamonds in the final. Background and format The Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was a 50-over cricket tournament created in 2020 so that English women's cricket could be played in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic. 2019 Women's Cricket Super League
The 2019 Women's Cricket Super League, or 2019 Kia Super League for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth and final season of the Women's Cricket Super League (WCSL), the semi-professional women's cricket competition in England and Wales. The competition, run by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), consisted of six franchise teams playing in a Twenty20 format. The tournament was scheduled to be replaced by the Women's Hundred and a new regional domestic structure from the next season, although the full implementation of this was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jennifer Louise Gunn (born 9 May 1986) is an English former cricketer who plays as a right-arm medium bowler and right-handed batter. She appeared in 11 Test matches, 144 One Day Internationals and 104 Twenty20 Internationals for England between 2004 and her international retirement in October 2019. She played domestic cricket for Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Warwickshire, Yorkshire Diamonds, Loughborough Lightning, Northern Diamonds, Northern Superchargers, South Australia and Western Australia. Surrey Women Cricket Team
The Surrey Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Surrey. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Reed's School Ground, Cobham, as well as The Oval and Woodbridge Road, Guildford. They are captained by Aylish Cranstone and coached by Jonathan Batty. The 2018 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 22nd cricket Women's County Championship season. It ran from the beginning of May to the beginning of June and saw 33 county teams and teams representing Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions. Hampshire Women won the County Championship as winners of the top division with Yorkshire finishing runners-up.
