Tapani Aartomaa
Tapani Olavi Aartomaa (7 May 1934 – 27 October 2009) was a Finnish graphic designer, who received much attention in Poland. Aartomaa operated his own graphic design studio and lectured for years at the Institute of Design in Helsinki and Lahti Institute of Design. He designed several hundred posters and book illustrations and received national and international recognition, exhibiting notably in Poland, Germany, Russia, Estonia and Sweden but also in Cuba and Mexico and the far eastern countries of China and South Korea. In 1975, he was one of the acclaimed creators of the International Poster Biennale in Lahti. Aarne Tapani Kansa (born 9 March 1949 in Hamina, Finland) is a Finnish singer. Career Tapani Kansa made his first record deal in 1967 and had a breakthrough the next year, with his version of the hit song ''Delilah'', translated into Finnish. Tapani Kansa had established a career in singing at a very young age. He had started studying singing in the Kotka music academy in the middle 1960s. His colourful performance style brought him much work on television. His early hit songs include ''Kuljen taas kotiinpäin'' ("I am walking home again"), ''Eloise'' and ''Käymme yhdessä ain'' ("We will always go together"). Tapani Niku (born ''Karsikas'', 1 April 1895 – 6 April 1989) was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed at the 1924 Winter Olympics. He won a bronze medal in the 18 km event and failed to finish his 50 km event. At the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1926 he placed sixth over 50 km and 13th over 18 km. Tapani Rinne (born February 2, 1962) is a Finnish musician, composer, record producer and sound designer, who is known for his experimental and innovative style with the clarinet and saxophone. It has earned him a reputation as one of the most respected and unique Nordic instrumentalists. Tapani Talo (born Tapani Tapanainen in 1950) is a Finnish-American architect, who has also worked as an audio engineer. He is best known from Rolling Stones Mobile studio technician in early and mid 1970s. Career Born in Lahti, Finland in 1950, he moved to Australia along his parents when he was just one year old. Family returned to Finland in late 1950s. Talo worked as a sound technician in Dipoli congress center in Otaniemi, Espoo from 1967 to 1972.
