Chen Tao (True Way Cult)
Chen Tao (真道, or "True Way") was a UFO religion that originated in Taiwan. It was founded by Hon-Ming Chen (陳恆明 born 1955), who first associated it with UFOs and later had the group misrepresented as a New Age UFO cult. Chen was a former professor who claimed to be an atheist until he joined a religious cultivation group that dated back for two generations to the original female founder, Teacher Yu-Hsia Chen. But he broke with the group, headed by the third-generation teacher, in 1993 and created, with another fellow-cultivator, Tao-hung Ma, their own groups. It was later, when he broke with Ma and decided to move to the US, that new elements, such as the pseudo-scientific information of cosmology and flying saucers, as well as Christian motifs of the prophecy of the end and the great tribulation, etc., were introduced into the group. Chen Tao (, 824-882) was a poet of the late Tang dynasty, and one of whose poems was collected in the popular anthology ''Three Hundred Tang Poems''; also, other of his poems have been anthologized in the ''Quantangshi'' (also known as, the ''Collected Tang Poems''). Chen Tao (; born 11 March 1985) is a retired Chinese footballer who last played for China League One side Sichuan Longfor. Club career Changsha Ginde Chen Tao started his football career with Shenyang Ginde in the 2003 season where he made an immediate impact by playing in eighteen league games and scoring one goal. He would continue to establish himself as an important member of the squad throughout the following seasons and would further cement his position within the team by playing as captain throughout the 2004 season. Though he often lead Shenyang Ginde to mid-table or lowly positions within the league he would be a loyal member of the team even when they decided to move to Changsha and changed their name to Changsha Ginde, however during the start of the 2008 season he was involved in a bitter transfer dispute with his club. Chen Tao (; born 3 May 1995) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Hefei City. Club career Chen Tao joined Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua youth academy from Shanghai Luckystar in 2014. In 2015 he was loaned to Shanghai Shenhua's satellite team CF Crack's in the Primera Regional of Valencia. He was promoted to Shanghai Shenhua's first team squad by Francis Gillot in the summer of 2015. On 19 August 2017, he made his debut for Shanghai Shenhua in a 3–0 home defeat against Guangzhou Evergrande, coming on as a substitute for Wang Shouting in the 72nd minute. He was demoted to the reserved team in 2018. On 26 February 2019, Chen was loaned to China League Two side Jilin Baijia for the 2019 season.
