The Kono people (pronounced ''koh noh'') are a major Mande peoples, Mande-speaking ethnic group in Sierra Leone at 5.2% of the country's total population. Their homeland is the diamond-rich Kono District in eastern Sierra Leone. The Kono are primarily diamond miners and farmers. The Kono people speak the Kono language (Sierra Leone), Kono language as their first language and is the most widely spoken language among the Kono people. Many youth from the Kono ethnic group use the Krio language as the primary language of communication with other Sierra Leonean ethnic groups. Tamba Boimah Hali (born 3 November 1983) is a former American football linebacker. He played college football at Pennsylvania State University (Penn State), where he earned All-American honors, and was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Early years Hali was born in Gbarnga, Liberia. He was sent to the United States at the age of 10 to escape civil war-torn Liberia. He worked to become an NFL-caliber player because he thought it would help him raise the money to reunite with his mother, Rachel Keita, and bring her to the United States after not having seen her for more than twelve years. Tetsurō Tamba
was a Japanese actor with a career spanning five decades. He is best known in the West for his role in the 1967 James Bond film '' You Only Live Twice'' as Tiger Tanaka. Biography Tamba had a part-time job as an interpreter at Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers before becoming an actor. In 1948, he graduated from Chuo University. In 1951, he joined the Shintoho company and made his screen debut with Satsujinyogisha. Tamba was introduced to Western audiences in the 1961 film '' Bridge to the Sun'' directed by Etienne Périer. He also appeared in the 1964 film The 7th Dawn, directed by Lewis Gilbert. Tamba is perhaps best known by Western audiences for his role as Tiger Tanaka in the 1967 James Bond film '' You Only Live Twice'', also directed by Gilbert (Tamba's voice was dubbed by Robert Rietti). was a province of Japan in the area of central Kyoto and east-central Hyōgo Prefectures. Tanba bordered on Harima, Ōmi, Settsu, Tajima, Wakasa, and Yamashiro Provinces. ''Tamba '' is a genus of moths in the family Erebidae. It was erected by Francis Walker in 1869. Taxonomy The genus has previously been classified in the Catocalinae or Calpinae subfamilies of the Erebidae or Noctuidae families. Characteristics This is a large but morphologically uniform genus of rather delicate erebid moths with distinctively patterned wings, the hindwings usually having most elements of the forewing pattern.
