Tallow GAA
Tallow GAA ( ga, CLG Tulach an Iarainn) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Tallow, in west County Waterford, Ireland. The club has won the Waterford Senior Hurling Championship four times, first in 1936 and more recently in 1980, 1984 and 1985. Tallow presently have four players on the Waterford county panel, James Murray, Aidan Kearney, Mark O' Brien and Thomas Ryan. Tallow GAA's ground is called Páirc Eamonn de Paor after the former Waterford hurler & coach, Ned Power who taught in the local school through the 1960s, 1970s & 1980s. Ned played for and coached countless Tallow teams in both hurling & football. He was widely regarded as one of the finest and most forward-thinking coach in GAA history, with many accolades and titles associated with his name. Blue

Thomas Ryan(Waterford Hurler)
Thomas Ryan (born 19 September 1989 in Tallow, County Waterford) is an Irish hurler who plays for his local club Tallow and is a former Waterford senior inter-county team member. Playing career Club Ryan plays his club hurling with his local club Tallow in Waterford. He has played with Tallow/Cois Bride from underage upwards. Ryan has enjoyed little success with Tallow, however he was part of the 2008 under-21(B) team who won the Western hurling title. He also was part of the Minor(b) team who won the 2007 Western Hurling title. In 2007 Cois Bhride made it to the county under 18 hurling (B) final where it ended in a draw against St Marys, Ryan was said to be one of the most skillful hurlers playing that day contributing 7points. Waterford Intermediate Football Championship is a second tier Gaelic Athletic Association competition between Gaelic football clubs organised by Waterford GAA. The winning club is eligible to play in the senior grade the following year for the Waterford Senior Football Championship. The winning club also represents Waterford GAA in the Munster Intermediate Club Football Championship. Ned Power
Edmond "Ned" Power (20 November 1929 – 15 November 2007) was an Irish hurler who played as a goalkeeper at senior level for the Waterford county team. Born in Dungarvan, County Waterford, Power first arrived on the inter-county scene as a dual player in the minor grade with Waterford. He made his senior debut in the 1957 championship. Power went on to play a key part for Waterford in what has come to be known as a defining era for the county, and won one All-Ireland medal, three Munster medals and one National Hurling League medal. Cheasty represented the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions in the latter part of his career, winning one Railway Cup medal in 1966. Aidan Kearney (hurler)
Aidan Kearney (born 27 August 1984) is an Irish hurler who plays as a left corner-back for the Waterford senior team. Kearney joined the team during the 2006 championship and has become a regular member of the starting fifteen over subsequent seasons. Since then he has won one Munster medal and one National Hurling League medal. Kearney has ended up as an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. He was educated at his local primary school and later attended the famous St. Colman's College in Fermoy, County Cork, a virtual nursery for young hurling talent. Here his hurling skills were first developed and he became a star on the college's various hurling teams. James Murray (hurler)
James Murray (born 1979) is an Irish sportsperson. He plays hurling with his local club Tallow and with the Waterford senior inter-county team. Career Club Murray has played with his local club, Tallow from a young age. His greatest achievement with the club was in winning the Waterford Minor Hurling Championship in 1997. As well as playing with Tallow, Murray has represented St. Colmans of Fermoy, winning the Dr. Harty Cup and at collegic level, with UCC in the Fitzgibbon Cup winning two titles, and has also won a North American Championship with the Harry Bolands Chicago in 1999.
