Talat Hussain (actor)
Talat Hussain Warsi, is a Pakistani actor. He is the son of Altaf Hussain Warsi and Shaista Begum who was one of the pioneering voices of Radio Pakistan, Karachi. Career Hussain has worked in several foreign films, television drama serials and long plays, including Channel Four's television serial ''Traffik'' and '' Family Pride.'' In 2006, Hussain won the Amanda Award for the Best Supporting Role in Norwegian film ''Import-export'' (2005). He also worked in the Indian film ''Sautan Ki Beti'' and made a guest appearance in ''Jinnah'' (1998 film). Talat Hussain's career has been recorded by the author Huma Mir in the book ''Yeh Hain Talat Hussain''. ''Alif Noon'' (Urdu: الف نون) is a 1965 comedy television series from Pakistan Television written by Kamal Ahmed Rizvi. The cast consisted of Rafi Khawar known as Nanha and Kamal Ahmed Rizvi known as ''Allan''. Plot Each episode follows 'Allan' shown as a clever business-minded person, coming up with some immoral tricks to earn fast money. He used to use 'Nanha' as his stooge. He himself was not inclined to work and would rather be the sleeping partner in every saga or telling the tricks to poor Nanha (his front man). The character of Nanha became an instant hit. Network Television Marketing or ''NTM'' was Pakistan's first private television slot. The company's productions first aired on Peoples TV Network (PTN, later renamed as STN) in 1990. In the 1990s, PTN entered into a three-year agreement with Interflow and created NTM NTM produced plays, stage and music shows.
