Takayuki Kohiruimaki
is a Japanese welterweight kickboxer and karateka competing in K-1 MAX. His real name is Takayuki Kohiruimaki. He started calling himself Taishin Kohiruimaki in 2008. Biography Young age Taishin Kohiruimaki was born as Takayuki Kohiruimaki in Misawa, Aomori, November 11, 1977. He started learning karate at the branch of Kyokushin kaikan, and then he started kickboxing at Active J, a kickboxing gym in Tokyo. Early career On January 31, 1997, he debuted as a professional kickboxer of All Japan Kickboxing Federation(AJKF), and he won his first bout by KO at 3R. On May 30, 1997, he fought and won against Masato (a future K-1 tournament champion.) Kohiruimaki won by TKO at 3R with knee strikes. On October 26, he fought against Tatsuya Suzuki who was the current champion of AJKF at welterweight, and he won by TKO at 2R. Gago Drago
Gagik Harutyunyan ( hy, Գագիկ Հարությունյան; born 8 March 1985), better known as Gago Drago, is an Armenian-born Dutch welterweight kickboxer from Alkmaar. He is known for his punch combinations and unpredictable kicking techniques and highly aggressive fighting style. Gago competed in K1-MAX and is trained at Loeks Gym, by Edwin van Os. Tsogto Amara
Tsogto Amara (Цогтын Амарбаясгалан, Tsogtyn Amarbayasgalan, born November 20, 1979) is a Lightweight Mongolian Kyokushin kickboxer who has fought in the All Japan Kickboxing Federation, Shoot Boxing, and K-1. Biography Tsogto Amara was born in Darkhan, Mongolia on November 20, 1979. He was first introduced to martial arts in 1994 through some of his friends, which led him to train in Kyokushin Karate. During Amara's amateur career in his home country of Mongolia, he found a great deal of success in karate by winning the 1997 Domestic Kyokushin Championship and 1998 Mongolian National Karate Championship. K-1 World MAX 2007 World Championship Final
''K-1 WORLD MAX 2007 World Championship Final'' was a kickboxing event promoted by the K-1 organization. It was the sixth annual K-1 World MAX final for middleweight kickboxers (70 kg/154 lb weight class), involving eight finalists and four reserve fighters, with all bouts fought under K-1 rules. Seven of the finalists had won elimination fights at the K-1 World MAX 2007 World Tournament Final Elimination, while the eighth, Gago Drago, had been invited despite losing his elimination match. Another defeated elimination fighter Virgil Kalakoda would be called up to take part in a reserve fight, while the other three reservists were invitees. As well as tournament fights there was an opening fight and two super fights fought under K-1 rules (various weight classes). Virgil Kalakoda
Virgil "The Conqueror" Kalakoda (born 24 December 1979) is a South African welterweight boxer and kickboxer, fighting out of Full Body Impact Gym in Sydney, Australia. He is former light-middleweight boxing champion and competed in K-1 MAX. Early career Virgil grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. His dad Steve Kalakoda was a boxer and he used to go to the gym with him, and learnt by watching, since he was about 4 years old. Joerie Mes
Joerie "The Shark" Mes (born March 16, 1979) is a Dutch former welterweight kickboxer, fighting out of Mike's Gym in Amsterdam. He is a former Dutch and European Muay Thai champion who later competed in K-1 MAX. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest combination specialists in kickboxing history. After his kickboxing career he worked as a history teacher in Amsterdam for several years. He is now a fulltime kickboxing coach at Mike's Gym. Andy Ologun (born June 12, 1983) is a Nigerian professional boxer, mixed martial artist, kickboxer and actor who has fought for K-1 and DREAM. He is the younger brother of television personality and mixed martial artist, Bobby Ologun. Yasuhiro Kido ( ja, 城戸康裕; born December 25, 1982) is a Japanese kickboxer, currently competing in the super welterweight division of K-1. A professional competitor since 2003, he is the 2008 K-1 World MAX Japan tournament winner and the 2017 K-1 Super Welterweight Grand Prix runner-up.
