Taichung Football Field
Taichung Football Field, also known as Chaoma Football Field (), is a football-specific venue located in Xitun District, Taichung, Taiwan. It has three 11-player football pitches, one 7-player pitch, one 5-player pitch, and three basketball courts. It is owned by Taichung City Government and presently operated by Taichung Football Commission. Xitun District
Xitun District or Situn District (, literally "western village") is the second-most populated district of Taichung, Taiwan. It is located on the western side of the city. Once considered part of the countryside, the district has seen rapid growth in recent years with department store and office towers in the redevelopment zone. Taichung City Hall is located in the district. History The original inhabitants of the area were the Pazeh people, who inhabited the Taichung Basin. The first Han settlers arrived in 1701, led by Liao Chao Kong () and Chang Da Jing (). As a result, the Pazeh people were pushed out of the area, and most of them migrated to Puli, Nantou. Many of its prehistory artifacts can be found at the Huilai Monument Archaeology Park. Taichung City Government
The Taichung City Government () is the municipal government of Taichung, Taiwan. History Taichū City Government was established by the Governor-General of Taiwan and the Japanese colonial authorities on 1 October 1920. Following the handover of Taiwan from Japan to the Republic of China, Taichung had been reconstituted as a provincial city government on 25 October 1945. Taichung City merged with Taichung County to become a special municipality on 25 December 2010. Building The first Taichung city hall, known as Taichung Shiyakusho, was constructed in 1911, when Taiwan was under Japanese rule. It has been turned into a cultural center since 2016. Poaceae () or Gramineae () is a large and nearly ubiquitous family of monocotyledonous flowering plants commonly known as grasses. Jean Paul (; born Johann Paul Friedrich Richter, 21 March 1763 – 14 November 1825) was a German Romantic writer, best known for his humorous novels and stories. Life and work Jean Paul was born at Wunsiedel, in the Fichtelgebirge mountains (Franconia). His father was an organist at Wunsiedel. In 1765 his father became a pastor at Joditz near Hof and, in 1767 at Schwarzenbach, but he died on 25 April 1779, leaving the family in great poverty. A football pitch (also known as soccer field) is the playing surface for the game of association football. Its dimensions and markings are defined by Law 1 of the Laws of the Game, "The Field of Play". The pitch is typically made of natural turf or artificial turf, although amateur and recreational teams often play on dirt fields. Artificial surfaces are allowed only to be green in colour. All line markings on the pitch form part of the area which they define. For example, a ball on or above the touchline is still on the field of play, and a foul committed over the line bounding the penalty area results in a penalty.
