TSG 1899 Hoffenheim
Turn- und Sportgemeinschaft 1899 Hoffenheim e.V., or simply TSG 1899 Hoffenheim or just Hoffenheim () is a German professional football club based in Hoffenheim, a village of Sinsheim municipality, Baden-Württemberg. Originally founded in 1899 as a gymnastics club, Hoffenheim came into being in its modern form in 1945. A fifth division side in 2000, the club rapidly advanced through the German football league system with the financial backing of alumnus and software mogul Dietmar Hopp, and in 2008 Hoffenheim was promoted to the top tier Bundesliga. In the 2017–18 season, Hoffenheim finished third in the Bundesliga (its best to date), qualifying for the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time. Rhein-Neckar-Arena
Rhein-Neckar-Arena (), currently known as PreZero Arena and previously as Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a multi-purpose stadium in Sinsheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of 1899 Hoffenheim. The stadium has a capacity of 30,150 people. It replaced TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's former ground, the Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion. The stadium is the largest in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan area, although it is situated in a town with only 36,000 inhabitants. The first competitive match was played on 31 January 2009 against FC Energie Cottbus, and ended in a 2–0 win for Hoffenheim. The stadium hosted international matches at the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup. The Rhein-Neckar-Arena hosted the "2017 DEL Winter Game", an outdoor ice hockey game between Adler Mannheim and the Schwenningen Wild Wings on 7 January 2017. SV Eintracht Trier 05 is a German association football club based in Trier, Rhineland-Palatinate. It was formed on 11 March 1948 out of the merger of Westmark 05 Trier and Eintracht Trier 06, on the 43rd anniversary of the establishment of predecessor Trier Fußball Club 05. The team badge incorporates Trier's most famous landmark, the Porta Nigra, an ancient Roman city gate still standing in Germany's oldest city. SSV Ulm 1846 is a German football club from Ulm, Baden-Württemberg. The modern-day football department, officially playing as SSV Ulm 1846 Fussball, was formed on 9 March 2009 when the department separated from SSV Ulm 1846. Ralf Rangnick
Ralf Rangnick (; born 29 June 1958) is a German professional football coach, executive and former player who is currently the manager of the Austria national team. Rangnick began his coaching career in 1983, succeeding his career as a player, at age 25. In 1997, he was hired by former club Ulm 1846, with whom he won the Regionalliga Süd in his debut season. Rangnick was then appointed by Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart, winning the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2000, but was dismissed in 2001. He subsequently joined Hannover 96, winning the 2. Bundesliga, but was dismissed in 2004. After a brief period with Schalke 04, Rangnick joined 1899 Hoffenheim in 2006, and achieved successive promotions to the Bundesliga. Sejad Salihović (; born 8 October 1984) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays for 1899 Hoffenheim II. He spent most of his career playing for 1899 Hoffenheim in the German Bundesliga. He also played for Hertha BSC, Beijing Renhe, St. Gallen and Hamburger SV. For eight years, from 2007 to 2015, Salihović played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, earning 47 caps and scoring 4 goals for the team. Tomislav Marić (born January 28, 1973) is a German-born Croatian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Marić was born to Bosnian Croat parents in Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg and started his first-team career in 1992 at amateur side SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg from the nearby Ludwigsburg in then third-division Oberliga Baden-Württemberg. He spent two seasons with the third-division side, making 60 league appearances in which he scored 14 goals. Jochen Seitz (born 11 October 1976) is a German professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Regionalliga Bayern club Viktoria Aschaffenburg. Seitz played professionally in his country for Hamburger SV, SpVgg Unterhaching, VfB Stuttgart, FC Schalke 04, Kaiserslautern, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and Alemannia Aachen.
