SV Sandhausen
Sportverein Sandhausen 1916 e.V., commonly known as simply SV Sandhausen or Sandhausen, is a German association football club that plays in Sandhausen, immediately to the south of Heidelberg in Baden-Württemberg. The club's greatest success came in 2011–12 when it won the 3. Liga and earned promotion to the 2. Bundesliga for the first time. History After a shaky start financially, the club advanced steadily through the lower leagues until it earned promotion to the ''Bezirksliga Rhein-Saar'' in 1931, but only played for a single season at that level before descending again. In 1943, it was merged with ''TSV Walldorf'' and ''VfB Wiesloch'' to form the wartime squad ''KSG Walldorf-Wiesloch''. The combined squad was dissolved at the end of the conflict and ''SG Sandhausen'' was reestablished as an independent club late in 1945. A half dozen years later it re-claimed its original name. Dennis Diekmeier
Dennis Diekmeier (born 20 October 1989) is a German professional footballer who plays as a right-back for SV Sandhausen in the 2. Bundesliga. Coming through the ranks of Werder Bremen, Diekmeier moved to 1. FC Nürnberg in 2009. His form there led him to being named to one of the best full-backs in the league, after which he joined Hamburger SV in July 2010, where he enjoyed a successful eight-year spell. He left after the club suffered relegation in 2018. In January 2019, he signed with SV Sandhausen, helping them avoid relegation in his first season there. Managerial career Schwartz was manager of Rot-Weiß Erfurt between 11 April 2003 and 30 June 2003 where he won one out of 10 matches. David Kinsombi (born 12 December 1995) is a German professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for SC Paderborn. Club career David Kinsombi holds citizenship of Germany and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He started his youth career with Germania Wiesbaden and SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
