The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center, typically shortened to the Tax Policy Center (TPC), is a nonpartisan think tank based in Washington D.C. TRANSPAC or Trans-pacific cable (TPC) is a series of undersea cables under the Pacific Ocean. Transpac 1 TRANSPAC-1 (TPC-1) was laid by AT&T's cable ship C.S. ''Long Lines''. and opened on June 19, 1964. It connected Hawaii, Midway Atoll, Wake Island, Guam, and Japan. A branch from Guam to the Philippines was completed in December 1964. This cable connected with HAW-1 to complete the telephone connection to the mainland United States. It had a capacity of 142 channels. TRANSPAC-1 was part of the network that supported the Apollo 11 moon landing mission in 1969. Transpac 2 In 1975, Transpac-2 (TPC-2) connected Guam, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore with 845 channels. The Transports Publics du Chablais (TPC) is a transportation company that operates various rail and bus services in the Chablais region, at the eastern end of Lake Geneva. It was formed in 1999 from the merger of four companies. The Tournament Players Championship was a professional golf tournament on the European Tour from 1977 to 1984. It was founded as a direct replacement to the Piccadilly Medal tournament. Two-pore channels (TPCs) are eukaryotic intracellular voltage-gated and ligand gated cation selective ion channels. There are two known paralogs in the human genome, TPC1s and TPC2s. In humans, TPC1s are sodium selective and TPC2s conduct sodium ions, calcium ions and possibly hydrogen ions. Plant TPC1s are non-selective channels. Expression of TPCs are found in both plant vacuoles and animal acidic organelles. These organelles consist of endosomes and lysosomes.
