TNL TV

	TNL TV TNL TV is an English and Sinhala-language television station in Sri Lanka, owned by Telshan Network. Launched in 1993, TNL TV was one of Sri Lanka's first privately owned television channels. Shan Wickremesinghe, the chairman of Telshan Network, is the brother of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. The first television broadcast dedicated for teledramas, ''CTV'' began telecast from February 1, 2008 from 10 am to 1 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday. 	Shan Wickremesinghe Deshabandu Shanthilal Nilkantha Wickremesinghe, popularly as Shan Wickremesinghe, is a Sri Lankan media mogul, broadcaster, and a Broadcast Engineer. He is the founder of Sri Lanka's first television station, ITN, and the current chairman of TNL television and radio network. He is the older brother of President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe. Personal life He was born on 20 December in Colombo as the eldest of the family. His parents were Esmond Wickremesinghe and Nalini Wickremesinghe née Wijewardena. His father was an ex- Lanka Sama Samaja Party lawyer who became a press baron taking over the Lake House Group of newspapers. His grandfathers were Cyril Wickremesinghe and D. R.Wijewardhena. 	Hantana ''Celaenorrhinus'' is a genus of skipper butterflies which are commonly termed sprites. An alternate name is flats, for their habit of holding their wings flat when resting, but this is also used for related genera. They belong to the spread-winged skipper subfamily (Pyrginae), and therein are the type genus of tribe Celaenorrhini. ''Celaenorrhinus'' species are found in most tropical regions.
