The Tajikistan Football Federation (russian: Федерация футбола Таджикистана; tg, Федеросиюни футболи Тоҷикистон, Federosijuni futboli Toçikiston, or FFT) is the governing body of football in Tajikistan. The federation was founded in 1936 in the Tajikistan SSR as a sub-federation of the Soviet Football Federation. Tajik (Tajik: , , ), also called Tajiki Persian (Tajik: , , ) or Tajiki, is the variety of Persian spoken in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan by Tajiks. CSKA Pamir Dushanbe ( tg, Клуби футболи ЦСКА-Помир Душанбе, Klubi Futboli CSKA Pomir Dushanbe; fa, زسکا پامیر دوشنبه) is a professional football club based in Dushanbe, Tajikistan that currently plays in the Tajikistan Higher League, the country's top division. FC Khujand ( tg, Клуби футболи «Хуҷанд»), ( fa, باشگاه فوتبال خجند), is a Tajik professional football club based in Khujand, currently playing in the Ligai Olii Tojikiston, the top division in the country. History FС Khujand was established in 1976 from the remnants of the club Pomir which was previously known as Miner. The first head coach of the team was Vladimir Burin. FC Khujand competed in the Central Asian Championship B League for 15 years. FС Khujand plays its home matches in Spartak Stadium which was located in the heart of the city before moving to the 20 Years of Independence Stadium (also known as 20-Letie Nezavisimosti Stadium).
