Sam O'Neill, known by his stage name TCTS, is an English DJ and record producer from Manchester. He is signed to Chase & Status' record label, MTA. O'Neill is best known for his 2014 song "Games", which reached number 29 on the UK Dance Chart. Career TCTS' debut EP, ''Hands'', was released on 15 May 2012 through Cool Kid Music. He released a single, "1997", through Bondax's label Just Us on 10 September 2012. The signing came about after he submitted the song to Rob Adcock's BBC Introducing from Stoke radio show and Bondax heard it played on Huw Stephens' BBC Radio 1 show. His second EP, ''These Heights'', was released on 11 November 2013 through Greco-Roman. ''Pitchfork'''s Larry Fitzmaurice described the release as "warm and weird". For the defunct U.S. record label see MTA Records More Than (MTA) Records is an independent record label founded by Chase & Status in 2009, specialising in "exceptional" music. The label releases a large variety of music including rap, soul, drum and bass, dubstep and deep house. It has played a pivotal role in the success of Nero, Redlight, 16bit, Ben Pearce among others, and many of its releases have charted in the United Kingdom. On 19 February 2015, the label competed against Hospital Records, Black Butter Records and 3 Beat Records in BBC Radio 1Xtra's "Best of British Soundclash". Hosted by MistaJam, the event served as an unofficial sequel to Red Bull's ''Culture Clash'' 2014 (also hosted by MistaJam). MTA won, having received the most Twitter votes from listeners. Kate Stewart (born 16 January 1995), also formerly known as KStewart, is an English singer-songwriter. She featured on the vocal version of Oliver Heldens's "Koala", and her song "Ain't Nobody" charted at number 86 on the UK Singles Chart. The Aston Shuffle
The Aston Shuffle is the name of Australian electronic music producer and DJ Vance Musgrove. They were initially a group until Mikah Freeman left in 2021, with Musgrove continuing on as a solo artist. Kelis Rogers-Mora (; born August 21, 1979), known mononymously as Kelis, is an American singer, songwriter and a professionally trained chef. At age 14, she was admitted to New York's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, where she learned to play the saxophone and won a spot in the Girls Choir of Harlem. After she graduated from high school in 1997, Kelis took on a variety of jobs before landing a backup vocal slot on an album track called "Fairytalez", released by the American hip hop group Gravediggaz. Stephen Fasano, better known by his stage name The Magician, is a Belgian DJ and record producer from Brussels, in Belgium. He is best known for his 2011 remix of Lykke Li's "I Follow Rivers", his single Sunlight feat. Years & Years and 2014 remix of Clean Bandit's "Rather Be" which were worldwide hits. "Alive" is a song by British record production duo Chase & Status, featuring vocals from British singer Jacob Banks. It was released independently on 15 December 2013 as the third single from their third studio album ''Brand New Machine''. However, the song charted prior to independent release and entered the UK Dance Chart at number 40 on the week ending 23 November 2013, rising to number 16 on the week ending 30 November. The release of the music video also caused a surge in popularity and the song rose to number 48 in the UK Singles Chart. It has later risen to peak at number 21 on the week ending 25 January 2014.
