Tahu, Palpa
Tahoon is a Village development committee (Nepal), village very development committee in Palpa District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3776. Tahoon Village is 32 km east from the district headquarters Tansen, Nepal, Tansen and is linked by a 24' Black Top road motorable road which diverts from Aryabhanjyang in the Siddhartha Highway. The total distance to place from Aryabhanjyang is about 14 km. Tahoon is an attractive place having natural surroundings of mountains, forests and farmlands. Tahu Ronald Charles Pearce Hole CBE (29 March 1906 – 22 November 1985) was a New Zealand born journalist who was the BBC's television news editor during the period immediately following the Second World War. Early life and work Hole was born in Christchurch, New Zealand but was not, as might otherwise be inferred from his first name, of Māori descent. He trained as a journalist and worked for a number of newspapers in New Zealand and Australia, including ''The Sydney Morning Herald''. He was the ''Herald's'' news editor for a time and in 1937 travelled to the United Kingdom as its London correspondent. Hole was in London when Britain entered the Second World War and used the facilities of the BBC to send news of the conflict to Sydney. He later acted as a news commentator for the BBC and became a permanent member of staff in 1943. Tahu Matheson
Tahu John Parke Matheson (born 1977) is an Australian classical pianist and conductor. He was born in London, grew up in Australia, and currently resides in London. Career Piano Tahu began his piano studies at the age of five with his father, international conductor John Matheson. He has studied piano with Kalle Randalu in Germany, and with Oleg Stepanov and Natasha Vlassenko at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, where he completed his Master of Music. In 1995 Tahu won the Queensland Piano Competition and made his professional debut in 1996 with a solo recital at the New Zealand International Festival of the Arts. He performed with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra in 1997 and was invited to record by Kiwi-Pacific Records. Tahu has also performed widely in Australia, both with the Orchestras and solo, and has toured Australia for Musica Viva. Teddy Tahu Rhodes (born 30 August 1966) is a New Zealand operatic baritone. Early life Rhodes was born in Christchurch, New Zealand, on 30 August 1966, to a British mother, Joyce, and a New Zealand father, Terrence Tahu Gravenor Rhodes. The Maori word "Tahu", which means "to set on fire", was added to the family name soon after they settled in New Zealand. His parents divorced when he was an infant, and he grew up with his mother. His aunt Margaret Rhodes, the wife of his paternal uncle Denys Rhodes, was a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. Timana Tahu
Timana James Aporo Tahu (born 16 October 1980) is an Australian former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer. He last played for Denver Stampede in the US PRO Rugby competition. A dual-code international representative three-quarter back for Australia's Kangaroos and then the Wallabies, he could also play and played for New South Wales in State of Origin. Tahu started his career in the National Rugby League for the Newcastle Knights, with whom he won the 2001 NRL Premiership before moving to the Parramatta Eels. He then played for the New South Wales Waratahs in the Super Rugby competition. Tahu returned to the NRL with the Eels and then the Penrith Panthers before finishing his NRL career where it started with the Newcastle Knights. Bionicle was a line of Lego construction toys, marketed primarily towards 8-to-16-year-olds. The line originally launched in 2001 as a subsidiary of Lego's Technic series. Over the following decade, it became one of Lego's biggest-selling properties, turning into a franchise and playing a part in saving the company from its financial crisis of the late 1990s. Despite a planned twenty-year tenure, the theme was discontinued in 2010, but was rebooted in 2015 for a further two years. Unlike previous Lego themes, Bionicle was accompanied by an original story told across a multimedia spectrum. It depicts the exploits of the Toa, heroic biomechanical beings with innate elemental abilities whose duty is to maintain peace throughout their universe.
