Zdeněk Tůma
Zdeněk Tůma (born 19 October 1960) is a Czech Republic, Czech economist. From 2000 to 2010, he was Governor of the Czech National Bank (CNB). From 2011 to 2019, he worked in the private sector at the audit and consulting firm KPMG Czech Republic. Since 2019, he has been the chair of the supervisory board of the Československá obchodní banka, ČSOB Group. František Tůma
František Ignác Antonín Tůma (2 October 1704, in Kostelec nad Orlicí, Bohemia – 3 February 1774, in Vienna) was a Czech composer of the Baroque era. He lived the greater part of his life in Vienna, first as director of music for Franz Joseph, Count Kinsky, later filling a similar office for the widow of Emperor Charles VI. He was an important late-baroque composer, organist, gambist and theorbist. Life Tůma received his early musical training from his father, parish organist at Kostelec, and probably studied at the Clementinum, an important Jesuit seminary in Prague. He likely sang as a tenor chorister under B. M. Černohorský (an important composer and organist) at the Minorite Church of St. James the Great, and he is believed to have received musical instruction from him. Martin Tůma (born 15 September 1985) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman who last played for the Danbury Hat Tricks of the Federal Prospects Hockey League. He was selected by the Florida Panthers in the 5th round (162nd overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Tůma played junior hockey in HC Litvínov's system in the Czech Republic. After his third season with HC Litvínov's junior team, he was drafted 162nd overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Florida Panthers. Jaroslav Tůma
Jaroslav Tůma (born 1956, in Prague, Czech Republic) is a Czech organist. This organist, clavichord, harpsichordist and pianoforte player graduated from the Prague Conservatory and from the Faculty of Music of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Milan Šlechta organ, and Zuzana Růžičková harpsichord). He won first prizes in organ improvisation competitions in Nuremberg in 1980 and in the Dutch city of Haarlem in 1986. He is also the laureate of a number of organ interpretation competitions, 1978 Linz, 1979 the Prague Spring competition and 1980 the Leipzig Bach competition. Marie Tůmová
Marie Tůmová (12 June 1866 – 1 May 1925) was a Czech women's suffragist and a teacher. In 1908, using a legal loophole, Tůmová was among the first three women to unsuccessfully run to be elected to the Bohemian Diet. Career Teaching Marie Tůmová worked as a teacher and, during World War I, became the principal of a municipal girls' school in Žižkov – a first woman to helm a municipal school in Bohemia. In 1919–1925, she worked on behalf of the Czechoslovak Ministry of Education in Carpathian Ruthenia and Slovakia, but malnutrition and bad living conditions led to a fatal illness.
