''Türk Edebiyatı'' (translated ''Turkish Literature'') is a Turkish monthly literary magazine based in Turkey. The magazine was first published on 15 January 1972. The founder was Ahmet Kabaklı. Beşir Ayvazoğlu served as the editor-in-chief An editor-in-chief (EIC), also known as lead editor or chief editor, is a publication's editorial leader who has final responsibility for its operations and policies. Turkish ( , ), also referred to as Turkish of Turkey (''Türkiye Türkçesi''), is the most widely spoken of the Turkic languages, with around 80 to 90 million speakers. It is the national language of Turkey and Northern Cyprus. Beşir Ayvazoğlu
Beşir Ayvazoğlu (born 11 February 1953) is a Turkish lyricist. Ayvazoğlu graduated from the Bursa Institute of Education, Department of Literature. He taught Turkish and literature at various high schools. Ayvazoğlu is the author of the book ''Aşk Estetiği'' (''The Aesthetics of Divine Love'').
