Tô Hoài
Tô Hoài (Birth name: Nguyễn Sen; September 27, 1920 – July 6, 2014) was a Vietnamese writer, playwright, screenwriter, journalist and correspondent. The pen name Tô Hoài is derived from the names of Tô Lịch River and Hoài Đức district, which are landmarks of his hometown. Among his works are the best - seller books '' Dế mèn phiêu lưu ký'' (Diary of a cricket) (1941), ''Truyện Tây Bắc'' (Stories of North West region) (1958), ''Quê nhà'' (Home town) (1970), ''Ba người khác'' (Three Others) (1991). Some of his works have been translated into foreign languages. He won the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature in 1996. Biography Tô Hoài was born in Nghĩa Đô ward, Cầu Giấy district, Hanoi, Vietnam. Fu () is a traditional administrative division of Chinese origin used in the East Asian cultural sphere, translated variously as jun (country subdivision), commandery, prefecture, urban prefecture, or city. They were first instituted as a regular form of administrative division of history of China, China's Tang dynasty, Tang Empire, but were later adopted in list of monarchs of Vietnam, Vietnam, Empire of Japan, Japan and Korean Empire, Korea. At present, only two ''fu'' still remain: the prefectures of Japan, prefectures of Kyoto Prefecture, Kyoto and Osaka Prefecture, Osaka in Japan. The term ''fu'' is currently also used in Chinese language, Chinese to translate the provinces of Thailand, provinces of Thailand, but not provinces of China, those of mainland China, administrative divisions of Taiwan, Taiwan or other countries. National Assembly (Vietnam)
The National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam ( vi, Quốc hội nước Cộng hoà xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam) is the national legislature of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Constitution of Vietnam recognizes the assembly as "the highest organ of state power." The National Assembly, a 500-delegate unicameral body elected to a five-year term, meets in the session twice a year. The assembly appoints the president (head of state), the prime minister (head of government), the chief justice of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam, the head of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Vietnam (or 'Supreme People's Office of Supervision and Inspection'), and the 21-member Government.
