Tårnby Fodbold Forening (; commonly known as Tårnby FF), is a Danish association football club based in Vestamager, Copenhagen, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 2004, the club is affiliated to DBU Copenhagen. The team plays its home matches at Vestamager Idrætsanlæg, where it has been based since its foundation. History Formation The club was founded on 29 October 2004 as a breakaway club by a group of former members of Tårnby Boldklub, who on the lower ranked senior teams felt overlooked due to the club's strong focus on youth football and the then superstructure project Amager United. Vestamager Idrætsanlæg
Vestamager most often refers to Kalvebod Fælled, but is also the name of one of the 15 administrative, statistical, and tax city districts (''bydele'') comprising the municipality of Copenhagen, Denmark. It lies on the south border of the municipality on the island of Amager. It covers an area of 13.99 km², has a population of 7,799 and a population density of 558 per km², making it both the largest district in area and the least densely populated district in Copenhagen. Nicklas Bendtner (; born 16 January 1988) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a forward. His preferred position was centre-forward, but he has also played on the right side of attack, and occasionally on the left.
