Täby
Täby () was previously a trimunicipal locality, with 66,292 inhabitants in 2013. However, as from 2016, Statistics Sweden has amalgamated this locality with the Stockholm urban area. It is the seat of Täby Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden. It was also partly located in Danderyd Municipality (the Enebyberg area) and a very small part in Sollentuna Municipality. Täby kyrkby in the northern part of Täby Municipality forms on the other hand part of the Vallentuna urban area Vallentuna is the seat of Vallentuna Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden, with 33,219 inhabitants in 2018. Täby Municipality (''Täby kommun'') is a municipality north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Täby. Täby Municipality can be characterized as a suburb of Stockholm. The municipality is one of few in Sweden which has approximately the same size as the original entity created out of Täby parish, when the first local government acts came into force in 1863. It has not been amalgamated with other units, but minor changes of its limits have been carried out. Täby Kyrkby
Täby kyrkby ("Village of Täby church"), is the northernmost part of Täby Municipality in Sweden. It also forms part of Vallentuna urban area, which is a statistical, non-administrative, unit. The village was originally named Täby, and has given Täby Municipality its name. Täby kyrkby is situated in the northern part of the municipality, close to Vallentuna Municipality and Lake Vallentuna. Täby kyrkby forms part of the Vallentuna urban area (''tätorten Vallentuna''). Vallentuna Urban Area
Vallentuna is the seat of Vallentuna Municipality in Stockholm County, Sweden, with 33,219 inhabitants in 2018. Vallentuna's cultural landscape is well preserved, and human habitation in the area has been traced back as far as the Stone Age. Archeological excavations in southern Vallentuna, near Lilla Gävsjö, uncovered remains of a Stone Age settlement. During the Bronze Age, population settlements increased in Vallentuna and the surrounding Roslagen area, when the landmass gradually rose as a result of the retreating ice glaciers. Danderyd Municipality
Danderyd Municipality (''Danderyds kommun''; ) is a municipality north of Stockholm in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. It is one of the smallest municipalities of Sweden, but the most affluent. Its seat is located in Djursholm and it is located within Stockholm urban area. The "old" rural municipality Danderyd was split up during the early 20th century, when Djursholm and Stocksund broke away in 1901 and 1910 respectively. Since 1971 Danderyd Municipality is reunified in approximately the old boundaries. The population in 2019 was 32,857. The Stockholm urban area ( sv, Stockholms tätort) is the largest and most populous of the statistical localities or urban areas in Sweden. It has no administrative function of its own, but constitutes a continuous built-up area, which extends into 11 municipalities in Stockholm County. It contains the municipal seats of 10 of those.
