Tyson Andrews
Tyson Andrews (born 6 February 1990) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer. He plays at and previously played for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League. Background Born in Maitland, New South Wales, Andrews is of Indigenous Australian descent and moved to Queensland at a young age. He played his junior rugby league for the Maroochydore Swans, before being signed by the Brisbane Broncos. Playing career In 2008 and 2009, Andrews played for the Brisbane Broncos' NYC team. In 2010, Andrews quit rugby league and pursued boxing. He won the Australian heavyweight amateur title. In 2011, Andrews moved to Mackay, Queensland to play for Wests, a local team. He was then brought into the squad of Queensland Cup team Mackay Cutters after impressing their coaching staff. Maitland () is a city in the Lower Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia and the seat of Maitland City Council, situated on the Hunter River approximately by road north of Sydney and north-west of Newcastle. 2014 NRL Season
The 2014 NRL season was the 107th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 17th season of the National Rugby League in Australia and New Zealand. The season started in New Zealand, for the Auckland Nines, replacing the Rugby League All Stars Match for the year, in the pre-season. After 26 rounds of the regular season, the Sydney Roosters were again crowned minor premiers and the competition had been reduced to a top eight teams to contest the finals series. The grand final was won by the South Sydney Rabbitohs, ending a 43-year premiership drought, winning 30-6 against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. 2015 All Stars Match
The 2015 All Stars Match was the fifth annual representative exhibition match played between the Indigenous All Stars and the NRL All Stars. It was held on 13 February 2015, returning from a one-year hiatus. The Indigenous side was selected through public voting which lasted from 1 December 2014 through to 9 January 2015. The NRL side wasn't voted on by the public, as in previous games, but selected by the team's coach, Wayne Bennett. Both sides were officially announced on 19 January. NRL All Stars Team
The NRL All Stars team was a rugby league football team made up of professional players in the National Rugby League. These players were selected by fan vote. However, fans were only allowed to select one player from each NRL team to join the Australian rugby league team captain and the New Zealand national rugby league team captain. Two other players were selected by the NRL All Stars coach. This team played in the annual NRL All Stars Game against the Indigenous All Stars. They were replaced in 2016 by a World All Stars. History The first NRL All Stars team was assembled in 2010 All Stars Match to play against the Indigenous All Stars on 13 February. Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional Rugby league, rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Wests Tigers started playing in the 2000 NRL season and they won their maiden premiership in 2005 NRL season, 2005. It is one of only two clubs (the other being the Newcastle Knights) that has never lost a Grand Final in which it has participated. The club also won the Rugby League World Sevens, World Sevens in 2004 in rugby league, 2004.
