Tysnesøy
Tysnesøya () or Tysnesøy is an island in Tysnes municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island makes up the vast majority of the island municipality of Tysnes. The tallest point on the island is the tall mountain Tysnessåto. The island lies in a large group of islands on the northern side of the mouth of the Hardangerfjorden. The Bjørnafjorden lies north of the island and the Langenuen strait runs along the west side of the island. The island of Reksteren lies to the northwest, Stord lies to the southwest, and the smaller islands of Skorpo and Huglo lie to the south of the island. The islands of Skorpo and Reksteren are connected to Tysnesøya by road bridges. The mainland lies just east of Tysnesøya, and there is a short road bridge connecting the two. The mainland municipalities of Fusa and Kvinnherad are located on the mainland, adjacent to Tysnes. Huglo
Huglo is an island in Stord municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The island lies in the Hardangerfjorden, just east of the large island of Stord and just south of Tysnesøy. The small island of Skorpo lies immediately northeast of this island. The highest point on the rugged island is the tall Høgafjellet. The island of Huglo has no road connections off of the island other than the regular car ferry routes connecting to Stord and Tysnesøy islands. There are about 100 inhabitants there and the main industries are farming and the making of furniture and customized golf clubs. Uggdal is the administrative centre of Tysnes municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located on the west side of the island of Tysnesøya. The village is located in the northern part of the Uggdalsdalen valley, just about from the coast. The small residential area of Uggdalseidet lies on the south side of Uggdal and the village of Våge lies about north of Uggdal. Reksteren is an island in the municipality of Tysnes in Vestland county, Norway. The island covers an area of . Its highest point is the tall Bjørnkletten. The island lies northwest of the larger island of Tysnesøy. The small Bårdsundet strait separates the two islands and there is a road bridge connecting the two islands. Hardangerfjorden
The Hardangerfjord ( en, Hardanger Fjord) is the fifth longest fjord in the world, and the second longest fjord in Norway. It is located in Vestland county in the Hardanger region. The fjord stretches from the Atlantic Ocean into the mountainous interior of Norway along the Hardangervidda plateau. The innermost point of the fjord reaches the town of Odda. Location The Hardangerfjord starts at the Atlantic Ocean about south of the city of Bergen. Here the fjord heads in a northeasterly direction between the island of Bømlo and the mainland. It passes by the larger islands of Stord, Tysnesøya, and Varaldsøy on the north/west side and the Folgefonna peninsula on the south/east side.
