Tyrion Davis-Price
Tyrion Jacobe Davis-Price (born October 23, 2000) is an American professional football running back for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at LSU. Early years Davis-Price grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended Southern University Laboratory School. As a senior, he rushed for over 2,500 yards and scored 29 touchdowns. Davis-Price committed to play college football at LSU. College career Davis-Price rushed 64 times for 295 yards and six touchdowns during his true freshman season as LSU won the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship. He was the Tigers' leading rusher with 446 yards and three touchdowns on 104 carries in 2020. As a junior, Davis-Price rushed 211 times for 1,003 yards and six touchdowns. Practice Squad
In sports, the practice squad, also called the taxi squad or practice roster, is a group of players signed by a team but not part of their main roster. Frequently used in gridiron football, they serve as extra players during the team's practices, often as part of the scout team by emulating an upcoming opponent's play style. Because the players on the practice squad are familiar with the team's plays and formations, the practice squad serves as a way to develop inexperienced players for promotion to the main roster. This is particularly important for professional gridiron football teams, which do not have formal minor league farm team affiliates to train players. The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30.
